SPIRITUAL CAPITAL

The spiritual capital base of Gavin Watson

Gavin Watson started theBOSASA Group of Companies for personal reasons.

The product was unique and viable as was the market potential. But Gavin Watson wanted to show the country that for a company to last, spiritual capital was needed as a foundation.

Gavin Watson knows that spiritual capital and corporate sustainability are inextricably linked.

AtBOSASA every day, every function, every activity is geared to making a difference. Every member of staff is chosen for having the ability to act with higher motivations.

The design of Mogale Business Park is spiritual with its myriad sanctuaries tucked into foliage where staff can and do contemplate their mission in life and the contribution they make to the world. This is where the greatest ideas that have emerged into BOSASAs product portfolio have been given birth.

Transforming the Lives of the Needy

This is where Gavin Watson street gave children career opportunities, chances to complete schooling, and vast career choices including accountancy, fashion design, religious ministries and IT engineering. Their lives have changed forever.

This is where Gavin Watson selected gardeners and cleaners - recognising their true potential and developing them into today’s leaders.

Correctional Centres Transformed

It is this spiritual capital that Gavin Watson has championed in the guise of Human Rights. He has taken this philosophy into Correctional Centres throughout the country, transforming mundane offender lives into rare culinary experiences as they get introduced into the world of professional cooking, catering, kitchen and food management.

With this opportunity many have gone on to work for leading hospitality groups armed with a City and Guilds, respected, certificated and supported by the Chefs Association of South Africa and HTA.

Capitalism is not only about material things our personnel and clients discover when they visit MBP. It is about how it can be and is used to transform lives. This is the way Gavin Watson lives his life – as an instrument of change.
